ViBIM stands behind the quality and precision of our Building Information Modeling (BIM) services. As a leading provider of Scan to BIM solutions, we understand that accuracy and reliability form the foundation of successful construction projects. This warranty policy reflects our commitment to delivering exceptional value and maintaining long-term partnerships with our clients.

1. Scope of Warranty

ViBIM provides a comprehensive free warranty on all BIM model deliverables for five (5) years from the date of final project delivery to the client. This warranty covers all errors, omissions, or defects attributable to ViBIM’s modeling processes, workmanship, or oversight.

The warranty applies to all ViBIM services including:

  • Architecture BIM Modeling
  • Structure BIM Modeling
  • MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) BIM Modeling
  • Topography BIM Modeling
  • LOD (Level of Development) and As-Built Modeling
  • 2D Drawing Extraction and Documentation

This warranty protection extends across all building types we service, from residential and commercial structures to complex industrial facilities and heritage buildings.

2. Warranty Claim Process

ViBIM has established a streamlined warranty claim process designed for rapid resolution:

Step 1: Claim Submission Clients must submit warranty claims via the original project email thread, including:

  • Detailed description of the identified issue
  • Supporting files demonstrating the error or omission
  • Specific reference to affected model elements

Step 2: Initial Response Our technical team will review and respond to all warranty claims within 24 hours of receipt.

Step 3: Resolution and Delivery Upon confirmation that the issue falls within warranty scope, ViBIM will:

  • Correct the identified error or omission
  • Deliver the revised model files. The delivery schedule will be agreed upon with the client before implementation, typically within 24 hours of confirmation, or as quickly as technically feasible.
  • Provide documentation of changes made

3. Exclusions from Warranty

The following circumstances are not covered under this warranty policy:

Input Data Quality Issues

  • Errors resulting from inadequate, incomplete, or poor-quality point cloud data that fails to meet project requirements
  • Issues arising from point cloud data not provided according to agreed specifications or delivery methods

Scope Changes

  • Modifications requested outside the original project scope of work
  • Changes to modeling standards, Level of Detail (LOD), or Level of Information (LOI) requirements after final delivery
  • Additional work requests that extend beyond initially agreed deliverables

External Technical Issues

  • Problems caused by client software incompatibility or version conflicts
  • Issues arising from the client’s computing environment or system limitations
  • Errors introduced during client-side file handling or processing

4. Our Warranty Commitment

ViBIM commits to providing prompt, thorough warranty support at no additional cost to our clients. This commitment includes:

  • No Additional Charges: All warranty work is performed free of charge when issues fall within the defined warranty scope
  • Expert Technical Support: Our qualified BIM professionals handle all warranty claims with the same attention to detail applied to original project work
  • Transparent Communication: Regular updates throughout the warranty resolution process
  • Quality Assurance: All warranty corrections undergo our standard two-layer quality control process before delivery
