I apologise, I never got back to you on the below to confirm completion of the project; I had to make a few minor additional amendments that Friday, but otherwise successfully delivered it that evening.

We actually got some feedback from the client on this Friday just gone, as below:

“I appreciate the hard work, the QA, the comms, the flexibility to work with our targets.

Mr.S has been showing our Digital team in morning catch ups, how precisely you guys are modelling, what good quality modelling can look like. If you can impress Mr.S then you know you’re doing something right!”

Essentially well done, and great! This is precisely the kind of feedback we want, as not only do we see return business from this client, but it is also spreading of the good word either from them to others, or if we can use it in some of our marketing to help catch a few other fish! More projects to come in the future hopefully!”

“Hi Yen,

Thanks again for the model, it was nicely done, especially the MEP part of it.

The markups are mostly because of missing pits, gutter height issues, and floor height issues (the required tolerance was high, hence objects needed to be modelled within 15mm of the point cloud).”

“Overall, we are happy, and the turnaround times and communication have worked well for us. We do normally use Google Sheets to highlight any QA or general questions but didn’t have time to set everything up on these last projects. Saves us sending a folder with loads of screen grabs and allows your team to ask questions easier. Will look at setting up going forward.

As it stands, we are looking to be busy on the run up to the Christmas break so if any other projects land between now and then we will send over for some costs.”

There are actually two other large jobs I need to get your assistance with both of which we have already won (pricing is for additional works so there is no bid process).

If I supply plans for Hospital projects tomorrow with photos would you be able to help in pricing these works? We met with the client today and am trying to get them free proposal next week. I apologise for the short notice, it is also short notice for us! Deliverables will be the same as those at lastest project that you priced previously.

I will send more info tomorrow.

The model you have delivered is incredible!

I was just wondering how many hours you think it would take to model up some of the surrounding buildings in LOD 200

The purpose is to capture the elevations of some of the surrounding buildings that are facing our building project.

It wouldn’t need to be anything super detailed, just enough to capture the height of the buildings, their windows and openings and that sort of detail.

I know some of the data around these buildings are a little bit sparse so we understand that it may be difficult to model completely for some of the buildings

If you could let me know the hours it would take to model each building that would be great!”
