As an Autodesk BIM platform user, we prefer RCP/RCS formats. While we accept E57 files, we recommend receiving truncated RCP/RCS files to maintain the quality of the original input data. We suggest 5GB per RCS file or a compressed (.zip) point cloud dataset per file to streamline data transfer.

Scan to BIM requirements vary depending on modeling scope, Level of Detail (LOD), tolerance, Level of Information (LOI), building component visibility, sizes, file management, modeling standard, etc. Therefore, each project is quoted individually based on the provided information.

We provide a secure data transfer solution through our FTP server, allowing fast and confidential exchange of model, drawing, documents between ViBIM and clients.
To receive large point cloud scan files from clients, we prefer secure cloud storage links from platforms such as Box, Google Drive, and WeTransfer. This approach is more efficient for the large file sizes typical of scan data. We can also access project files directly through client-hosted platforms like Cintoo and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).

For Scan to BIM projects, the best approach is to provide a point cloud file with a clear BIM scope of work. If unavailable, alternative references such as LGS TrueView, Google Maps, photos, drawings, and a brief project description can be used.

We apply our internal estimating process, historical project data, and applicable technology to predict the required hours and schedule project completion.

ViBIM is a registered company in Vietnam and complies strictly with tax regulations. We issue commercial invoices with bank SWIFT codes and company account details for transactions via company bank accounts. Additionally, we accept payments via TransferWise or other electronic company banking systems.

ViBIM enforces strict data security policies. Only authorized Project Managers (PMs) can transfer client data through secure cloud platforms. Unauthorized USB data copying and internet data sharing are restricted via firewall settings.
